Pink peppercorns are not from the same pepper vine as black, green, and white pepper. They are berries that come from the Brazilian pepper tree.
Taste: Slightly sweet flavor.
Look: Fully ripened red-pink berry. Preserved in brine.
Smell: Sharp & peppery.
Use as a garnish rather than a seasoning. Very delicate flavor.
- Not usually use ground. Add to a dish at the end whole or slightly crushed.
- Stimulent and a diuretic.
- Prevents coughs, asthma, and colds.
- Aids indigestion and constipation.
