COOK: Add freshly chopped leaves to dals or stews at the last minute for maximum flavor. Replace a portion of cilantro with basil when making cilantro chutney. Dry leaves can be mixed in marinades for vegetables, fish or chicken for a floral finish.
TIPS: Make a tea with fresh basil leaves, whole mace & black peppercorns.
