Moringa Smoothie

Moringa is our favorite superfood. It’s a little tough to find fresh leaves, but you can replace the leaves with 1 tsp of powdered moringa. 

makes ~1.5 cups


1 cup fresh moringa leaves

few leaves mint

2 Tbsp cashews

1-2 ripe bananas (frozen if you like your smoothies cooler)

1 inch piece of ginger

¼ tsp ground cardamom

1 cup water or coconut water

pinch salt



  1. Soak the cashews in warm water for 5 minutes. Do not discard the water. 
  2. Blend the moringa leaves, mint, cashews with 3 Tbsp soaking water, bananas, ginger cardamom, water, and salt until smooth.
