Masala Popcorn

Not your ordinary microwave popcorn! Jumpstart your movie night at home with some old-fashioned popped corn, tossed with our special spice blend & ghee. An unbeatable combination…

makes 1 large bucket


1 cup (190g) dried corn

3 Tbsp ghee or oil

1 tsp turmeric 

1-2 Tbsp amchur

1-2 Tbsp powdered sugar 

1 tsp chili powder 

1 tsp salt

Drizzle ghee or honey *optional


  1. In a 3-4 quart stockpot with a tight-fitting lid, combine the ghee & the corn kernels. Put the lid on & turn the heat to high. 
  2. Once you hear the loud popping sound, immediately lower the heat to medium & let the corn pop for the next 2-3 minutes. When the popping subsides, turn the heat off & immediately add the masala. Toss the popcorn until it is evenly mixed. 
  3. Drizzle additional ghee & honey.
