Kahwa or qahwa, is a green tea native to Pakistan and Afghanistan. Enjoy it chilled then steep, strain, refrigerate and serve over ice. Honey works well as a sweetener. 

makes 2 cups


1 Tbsp green tea

3-4 crushed cardamom pods

pinch saffron

7-10 mint leaves


In a press pot, put the green tea, cardamom pods, saffron and mint leaves. Pour 2+ cups boiling water over the herbs and spices. Let the tea steep for 4-5 minutes.
